Start with the decision
A finance achievement is more than a task completed. Explain what decision, risk or operating question your work helped someone handle.
Use a number only when you own the source
If you can verify a value, timeframe or scale, include it with context. If you cannot, describe the change precisely without manufacturing a percentage or currency figure.
Examples of safe specificity
You might explain that you shortened a reporting handover, clarified a variance pack, redesigned a reconciliation checklist or supported an audit request. The detail should come from your records and memory, not from a template.
